Soundmesh plays uncompressed audio data to remote host ips.  
It handles 44.1KHz au/sun/next or aiff files. It is a RTcmix-3.1.0 based application.
You do not need to install cmix as all binaries are included.
Because high bandwidth is required, you must be at an Internet2 site to participate.

Installation:

download the application soundmesh.tar file.
As root or admin, put it into your /Applications
directory.  In a terminal window, issue the
following commands:

cd /Applications
tar xvf soundmesh.tar


Running Soundmesh:

The application should be fully installed.  To test
it.  load a sound (44.1, au or aiff) on port 9999 with either the
menu item or open button for that port.
Type in an IP or hostname (it can be "localhost"
to send to yourself).  Hit the receive on button
for port 9999.  Hit the send on button for the
same port.  You should hear the sound play.
To send to another machine, replace localhost
with the IP or hostname of the machine.

To increase density switch on the "window" toggle
for the next time you send.
